Testing

You can test all credit card transactions by switching the respective payment provider to test mode.

During the payment process, you will see “The payment provider is in test mode”. This means that one or more payment providers are in test mode, but some may also be in live mode.

Preparation

Before you start testing you need a Payrexx account and start a payment provider setup.

  1. Signup for a Payrexx Account (The trial plan is perfectly enough for testing purposes)
  2. Setup Payrexx Direct or any other External Payment Provider
  3. Switch your Payment Provider to test/sandbox mode. Do so in your Payrexx Account under Payment Provider > Configure

Testing

All Payrexx Tools can be used for testing purposes. The easiest way is to use the tool Terminal but we recommend testing as similar as possible to your desired use case.

To make the test payment, use the following test creditcards.
